Guidance on accessing hair and beauty services during the COVID-19 pandemic

Keeping You Safe.

We’re delighted to welcome you to Ashnaa Hair and Beauty. Our priority is keeping you and our staff safe and well. In light of Covid-19, we’ve made a few changes to our salon so we can prioritise everyone’s safety.

At Ashnaa we will follow the government guidelines. We are open for all hairdressing and beauty services.

Below are the guidelines you need to follow when entering the salon for our services.

Before You Visit
We ask that you arrive when your visit is scheduled to start and not earlier. For safety, we are limiting the number of people in a salon at any one time so there will not be a waiting area inside

We also ask that you show up for your visit alone unless you need to bring a parent, guardian, or carer.

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late we may need to rebook your appointment for another time as we need to stick to timings very carefully to make sure there are not too many people in the salon.

The salon manager will advise whether you need to be rebooked or if your appointment can begin late.

You will be asked complete a questionnaire which includes questions about your health so we can keep everyone safe.

You can visit the salon to request an appointment – our manager will decide on a case by case basis whether it has the capacity.

During Your Visit
When you first arrive there will be a sign on the salon with guidance to inform you that changes have been made. We may perform a temperature check on you.

Please do not come to the salon if you are unwell.

We will have screens between each station and floor markings to help you with social distancing. There will also be hand sanitiser available and you will be asked to use this when you first arrive.

Hands Face Space
Wear Your Mask

All our staff will be wearing disposable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like aprons and visors. Please bring your own mask as legislation requires that you wear one. If you do not have a mask you can buy one from us. No mask – no service.

When you arrive at your styling station chair, you will find a disposable gown for you to put on for your appointment. We ask that you don’t bring anything unnecessary to the salon as we will be unable to store this safely.

Magazines have also been removed from our salon because they are handled by multiple people and there’s not a good way for us to disinfect them. You may bring your own but please be sure you remove it with you when you leave.

Every piece of equipment that your stylist may use will be cleaned before your visit. We will be cleaning equipment throughout the day between every client for your safety. We will be using anti-bacterial spray on all surfaces, furniture and mirrors to keep everyone in the salon as safe as possibl

Your stylist will use the mirror to speak with you rather than talking face to face. Please try to avoid turning to speak with them even at the beginning and end of your visit. If you need to use the bathroom it will be available and we have special cleaning protocols to ensure this is safe for both our team and our clients to use throughout the day.

Please bring a debit or credit card with you to pay when you visit as our staff should not handle cash for safety reasons.

We’re committed to comply with the Government’s Track and Trace programme to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. We are required to supply details to the Government for Track and Trace, we will provide your name, contact details and the times you were in the salon. Your data is safe with us, we store everything securely so that it’s GDPR compliant and we will never share your details unless it’s required under the regulations.
